Warehouse Team Member - PART TIME

Currently, Meijer is seeking warehouse team members for multiple distribution facilities at our Tipp City location. The individuals selected for this position will be responsible for product selection and loading of trailers for store delivery within our distribution facility. The individual will also maintain a friendly working relationship with a diverse team and leadership to promote productivity and maintain an attitude of positive customer service. The ideal candidate must be at least 18 years old and able to work any shift.

Ability to work in variable temperatures based on the time of year and often uncontrolled & if working in fresh or frozen, ability to work in cold temperatures in refrigerated building with working conditions ranging from -15 to 34 degrees in our frozen facility or 34 to 55 degrees in our fresh facility
Accurately select cases to achieve a goal of 100% accuracy for our customers
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product up to 75 pounds continuously
Tasks are physically demanding, requiring long hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
Able to obtain in house certification in low lift powered equipment
Operates forklift or other machinery required for transporting large orders and heavy products.
Successful completion of drug screen, physical and background check
Have reliable transportation

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
