Electronic Technician II

Recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance. Lays out, builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies more complex electronic developmental components, and systems according to engineering instructions. Analyzes and interprets test data. Evaluates performance and reliability of prototype or production model.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct EMC Testing in laboratory setting
Review, define and drive proper EMC requirements
Use common lab test equipment for testing
Troubleshoot test failures
Maintain project files and notes in an organized manner
Prepare EMC test plans and reports
Ability to read electronic schematics
Maintain Calibration of EMC test equipment
Follow site and corporate safety policies
Requires completion of a 2 year technical degree program plus five or more years of experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates in Electronics, Electronic Engineering, Engineering Technology or related experience
2 years of experience in an Electronic Engineering Technician function
Experience using electronic lab equipment including volt meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
Demonstrated experience participating in and performing effectively in a project team environment
Proven ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments and changing priorities
Strong work ethic, a responsible teammate able to independently execute tasks in a timely & organized manner
Professional & clear verbal and written communications skills. Strong organization skills.
Desired Qualifications:
Familiar with test procedures for EMI, hipot, transient, ESD, and others
Familiar with agency testing ? UL, CSA, IEC
Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel & Visual Basic tools
Experience setting up data acquisition systems in a lab

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
