As an Automation and Controls Engineer, you will have a variety of responsibilities, and will oversee the entire life cycle of capital equipment projects, starting from their conceptualization to final implementation.
For example, the Automation and Controls Specialist will oversee:
Conducting comprehensive engineering design of control systems for internal projects.
Identifying possibilities for optimizing assembly, material handling, and process efficiency to minimize labor and costs while enhancing quality.
Collaborate directly with new equipment suppliers to develop systems and programming.
Defining control systems specifications for capital investments.
Integrate discrete equipment components into a unified manufacturing process or assembly line.
Taking charge of power distribution aspects within projects.
Uphold company standards pertaining to automation equipment components.
Compose, develop, and troubleshoot PLC control programming.
Draft purchase contracts for capital equipment.
Prepare justifications and proposals.
Evaluate, offer feedback on, and endorse automation equipment drawings.
Supervise equipment vendors and contractors.
Interface with personnel at the plant level.
Initiate the startup of new equipment, including debugging.
Manage and track projects, ensuring adherence to content, schedule, and budget.
Provide status reports, present outcomes, and follow up accordingly.
Serve as an expert resource, offering support at the plant level for equipment-related matters, as required.
To be considered for the Automation and Controls Engineer role, please have the following
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline.
Experience encompassing engineering, project management, and practical involvement in automation at the plant/equipment level.
Be willing to do some travel JV 20337 Recommended Skills Automation Business Process Improvement Control Systems Debugging Engineering Design Process Materials Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
